Beautiful Brown Eyes

You may remember this sweetheart from her newborn session six months ago. I can’t believe she’s gotten so big! We were hoping for some beautiful fall weather last weekend, and we did get some . . . about 20 minutes after our session ended and Miss A had gone down for her nap. :( But that’s okay—we’re sure to have good weather for her one year session in May, right?!

This image almost looks like we were in the studio, but we were just in A’s room. She was getting ready for a quick bath in the sink.

And finally, here she is with Mom and Dad’s support. I just can’t get over those big brown eyes.

K and M, it was so great seeing you all again. I hope you’re having a great time in Tennessee. I’ll be in touch as soon as the rest of your gallery is ready. Happy Thanksgiving!

Little Boy Blue

I met sweet B and his parents a few weeks ago at their house. Would you look at those big brown eyes?!

We put him in lots of situations that were new to him. When’s the last time you sat in a bowl on top of the dining room table?

I just can’t resist those baby feet!

We didn’t have the best weather, but the rain let up toward the end of our session and we headed outside for just a few more before B was ready for his nap.

Thank you, M family, for inviting me to your home. It was great to meet you all and have some fun with the B-Man. Your gallery will be ready soon!

Eleven Months

Last Saturday, I made my second visit to Miss E’s house. She sure has grown since I photographed her last December! She’s a little shy, so I had a bit of a tough time getting a smile out of her.

Dad had better luck . . . check out those cute little teeth!

We were lucky to have good weather—she really enjoyed being outside.

One of the best parts of this job is watching little ones grow. Thanks so much, K and J, for inviting me to document the growth of your sweet little girl. Enjoy your sneak peek!

Mr. Mischief

First off, I have to say that the title of this post describes the photo above—not the little boy who’s in the photo. Doesn’t he look like he could get into a bit of trouble? Or maybe he just knows something we don’t. At any rate, he sure is a sweetheart. I didn’t see any mischief out of him at all today. Nope, he was nothing but smiles. And drool. :) (I think he’s working on a few new teeth!)

Choosing photos for this sneak peek was really tough. Mr. L was all smiles for me, and just look at those big brown eyes and long lashes!

We spent a little time outside too, where he had a great time sitting in a basket while he listened to his mom and me sing. I doubt he was thrilled with my singing, but he didn’t seem to mind too much.

He’s working hard on his crawling skills, and I was so happy to get this image. I think it’s my favorite one of all. If you look closely, you can even see the drool. :)

D and M, thank you so much for inviting me to document this stage of L’s life. I had a really great time this morning, and I hope you did too. Enjoy your sneak peek!

A little bit of Cole . . .

DSC_2456

I got to hang out with sweet Cole for a while this afternoon. It was tough to coax a smile out him, but could he look any cuter in his Santa hat? I don’t think so!
