And once again, things are changing around Sheila Y Photography! I’m still here and going strong, but my blog has become a combination of a blog and a website . . . sometimes called a . . . are you ready for it? Blogsite! Come see the latest and greatest at www.sheilayphoto.com!

Movin’ on up
I’ve moved the blog, and the new version is bigger and better. All new posts will be at the new place. Come on over and check it out!
Be sure to save it as a favorite!
Merry Christmas!
Maggie (pictured above), my husband, and I made it safely to Minnesota on Sunday night. Fortunately, we had pretty good weather for the drive, but we could’ve lived without the -30 degree windchills! We’ll be spending time with my family before we get back in the car on Friday morning and head east again. We’re hoping the weather is kind to us for the return trip too!
Thanks to you, 2008 has been a great year for Sheila Y Photography. I have the best clients, and it’s been so great working with you and sharing births, birthdays, and just everyday life with all of you. I hope you have a happy, relaxing holiday season, and I look forward to seeing you again in the new year!
That’s a wrap!
Yesterday was my last session for 2008, and what a way to end! Would you look at that sweet peanut? She’s so tiny! She was wide awake when I arrived, but once she fell asleep she was down for the count. And she let us have all kinds of fun. We put the tutu on her, and we played with hats, barrettes, and lots and lots of fur!
P, it was so great to meet you and all the women in your family! I really enjoyed working with you and your girls. Maybe next time we’ll have some better weather! I’ll be in touch in a few weeks when your gallery is ready. Happy holidays!
Beautiful Brown Eyes
You may remember this sweetheart from her newborn session six months ago. I can’t believe she’s gotten so big! We were hoping for some beautiful fall weather last weekend, and we did get some . . . about 20 minutes after our session ended and Miss A had gone down for her nap.
But that’s okay—we’re sure to have good weather for her one year session in May, right?!
This image almost looks like we were in the studio, but we were just in A’s room. She was getting ready for a quick bath in the sink.
And finally, here she is with Mom and Dad’s support. I just can’t get over those big brown eyes.
K and M, it was so great seeing you all again. I hope you’re having a great time in Tennessee. I’ll be in touch as soon as the rest of your gallery is ready. Happy Thanksgiving!
